Poetic Vybez will continue with me, Melanie YeYo Carter, as your new host starting Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Phatt Katz Lounge!!! Phatt Katz is the official new home of Poetic Vybez!!!
Alright, here's the rundown. As I said previously, Poetic Vybez will go down every Wednesday night at 9 pm. The sign up for open mic will be from 8:00-9:15 pm. There will be a $5 cover, but anyone who gets to Phatt Katz Lounge before 9:15 will get their first drink on the house (FREE)!!! The grown folks vybe will still be in full effect with Dee J. Troop (DJ Troop) setting our spirits on fire with some NeoSoul music. Before I go on, I have to thank Hope Flows for trusting me with her brain child, Poetic Vybez, and I have to thank Dean Roberts for providing the venue. Yes, this will be some healthy competition, but more importantly, there will be a ridiculous amount of talent under one roof!!! There will also be fellowship.
